You’ve scheduled your home inspection, NOW WHAT?
THE HOME INSPECTION
Once you have confirmed your home inspection date and time, it is essential to coordinate with your agent to prepare the home for the coming home inspection. We always urge you to accompany us on the inspection. We will have access to the home for several hours. Therefore, you and your family ample time to review the property without interruptions. After the inspection, we will provide you with a summary of the components and systems of the home.
AFTER THE HOME INSPECTION
Following the inspection, we will begin the process of compiling the gathered data from the home and generating your inspection report. We need ample time to be as meticulous and informative as possible, in such a limited amount of time. Therefore, we do not provide onsite report publishing. Once you receive your inspection report, we recommend that you read the full report. There is a lot of information found in the report. To help you determine importance of the findings we will categorizing defects based on cost, safety, and importance. Many home buyers choose to take care of minor defects sometime in the future. Only you can determine what defects you want addressed immediately.
